Terrific news: The International Printing Museum has received a grant from the Los Angeles County Department of Arts & Culture (A&C) to help sustain our Book Arts Institute programming!
Collectively, A&C granted $5.1M to 266 non-profit organizations that deliver visual arts, performing arts, film and media, literary arts, and arts education programming through its Organizational Grant Program. More than 90% of the funding was allocated to micro, small, and midsized organizations with budgets under $3M (like us), and just under half of all recipients were first-time applicants (also like us).
By awarding grants to a wide range of arts non-profits that serve 95% of the county’s zip codes, A&C's grants are intended to help address systemic inequity in arts funding in the nonprofit sector.
