Join us for a special gathering with Paul Moxon — studio letterpress printer, book designer, independent educator, and all-around champion of the printing arts.
Based in Alabama, Paul is the author of Vandercook Presses: Maintenance, History and Resources, moderator of vandercookpress.info, and website editor for the American Printing History Association. Simply put, he's our go-to guy for all things Vandercook!
During his talk, Paul will share stories and anecdotes from the world of Vandercook presses, including notable repairs, a bit of press history, and plenty of behind-the-scenes printing wisdom.
Following the discussion, there will be plenty of time for questions, swapping stories, and connecting with fellow printers and book artists. And, of course, we'll have a Vandercook or two ready to roll in our historic 1950s print shop for a little hands-on printing fun!
Light refreshments will be served.
Bring your questions, your curiosity, and connect with your printing community! Whether you're a seasoned printer, a book arts enthusiast, or just getting your hands inky, there's a place for you at the press.
