In this half-day workshop, participants learn a little about the history of letterpress printing, then they select wood type from the Museum’s collection, lock up their form in a chase, and ink and print their poster. Each workshop has a special theme. At the end of the workshop, there will be a print exchange, so that everyone takes home a portfolio of prints made during the workshop. This workshop is hands-on and very active. All materials provided. All experience levels welcome.
