Book Arts: "School of Bad Printing"

  • International Printing Museum 315 West Torrance Boulevard Carson, CA, 90745 $225 (map)

Join the head bad printer himself, who is visiting from Detroit’s School of Bad Printing branch, and discover how to actively put ink on paper.

A self-proclaimed “humble Negro printer,” Kennedy is known for his sharp humor, bold philosophies, and unapologetic approach to questioning the status quo. His work blends radical social commentary with a layered, unmistakable printing style. Come ready to make a mess, make some prints, and maybe even make history.

Pro tip: Don’t wear your nicest clothes—ink has a sneaky way of leaping off the press. And please know that closed-toe shoes are required.

All levels welcome, and all supplies provided! No experience needed.
