This workshop will expose you to the basics of screen printing -- but with a special treat... glow-in-the-dark ink, spooky stencils, and other surprises! You’ll learn how to choose the appropriate type of ink for your project, as well as which screens, squeegees, and other tools work best. You’ll also learn how photo stencils work, have the opportunity to cut your own stencil & print custom-designed shirts, and be able to try puff, metallic foils, and retro-reflective inks -- which produce effects that can't be duplicated via digital printing methods. Finally, you’ll experience a multi-color printing demo on carousel screen presses. This is a small class to ensure that you will have a fantastic experience with tons of tips and tricks. No experience required and beginners are welcome! All screen printing supplies (screens, ink, etc) are included with your workshop fee, but be sure to bring plenty of cotton shirts to experiment with! Beginners welcome!
