THE 2026 APA LA ‘GOOSE WORKSHOPS
July 22, July 23, & July 26
The annual APA (Amalgamated Printers Association) Wayzgoose, or printers’ picnic, which is convened somewhere in the United States each summer, is a weekend letterpress affair filled with presentations, workshops, demonstrations, tours, and more. A favorite each year is the Saturday flea market and auction of printers’ treasures, followed by a banquet and guest speaker. But probably the major highlight of these gatherings is just visiting with other kindred spirits who love letterpress.
A special opportunity is the workshops that accompany the Wayzgoose. The International Printing Museum, which is hosting the event this year, has lined up an extensive number of workshops to enjoy in the Museum’s Book Arts Institute. Registration for these 16 workshops is limited to active APA members until April 1st, after which the general public is welcome.
