Experience history in motion at the AMERICANA CAR SHOW: A Celebration of Revolutionary Machines on Saturday, July 11, from 10 am to 4 pm, at the International Printing Museum in Carson, California. A one-day event bringing together classic automobiles and working antique printing presses in a lively celebration of American independence, innovation and craftsmanship.
From hand-powered presses that spread revolutionary ideas to the automobiles that transformed modern life, Revolutionary Machines highlights the technologies that helped shape the American experience. Visitors will explore vintage cars from 1912 to the muscle cars of the 1970’s, enjoy historic printing demonstrations, and get hands-on with printing activities inspired by America’s revolutionary era. Guests will be able to print patriotic keepsakes such as the Declaration of Independence along with historic automobile ads and images.
Thomas Jefferson will be on hand to tell stories of his role in America’s independence in the Museum’s Heritage Theatre at 2pm! Be sure to reserve your space in advance for his performance in advance, as seating is limited.
The AMERICANA CAR SHOW is a unique event for all ages to explore the people, inventions, and ideas that moved a nation forward.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors & students, or $45 for a family of 4
