FUGU FUGU PRESS
Fugu Fugu Press is a greeting card company specializing in charming, letterpress greeting cards that celebrate the art of everyday correspondence. With a shared love for design, illustration, and traditional printmaking, Ken and Shino Charlson produce whimsical, heartfelt cards that are thoughtfully illustrated. They print on a Heidelberg Windmill, using polymer plates.
Founded in 2007 and operated by the husband and wife duo, their studio was nestled in the foothills of Altadena, until it was destroyed in the recent Eaton fire. In this presentation, Ken and Shino will talk about how they are rebuilding their business. They are also going to be doing a demo on several of the Museum’s presses.
