INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
Saturday, June 29, 2024 | 10 am to 4 pm
Step into history and celebrate the birth of America with your whole family at the Printing Museum!
In the Museum’s Heritage Theatre, a special theatrical presentation will feature Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and Betsy Ross. Hear how each played a critical role in the the founding of our country. Ben Franklin will also entertain audiences with his Glass Armonica, the musical instrument he invented; Jefferson will highlight how the Declaration of Independence came about; and Betsy Ross will bring to life the Stars and Stripes that defined our new nation.
Special tours of the galleries throughout the day include printing your own Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and the Star Spangled Banner on original presses from the period. A demonstration of graceful dancing of the colonial and Jane Austen periods will entertain audiences young and old.
Tours and demonstrations throughout the day; theatre shows at 11 am and 1 pm.
General Admission is $15. Members, Students, & Seniors are $12. Children under 3 are free.

MUSEUM CLOSURES
The Museum is open to the public on Saturdays, 10 am to 4pm, except when we are hosting scout programs.
We will be closed on the following Saturdays in 2024: February 17, March 16, April 20, May 18, June 22, July 20, Aug 24, Sept 21, Nov 9 & Nov 16.
