LINDNER’S GOLD: Treasures of the Printing Museum
Saturday, August 15
3 PM to 6 PM
Join director Mark Barbour as he highlights many rare treasures in the collection. Enjoy the intriguing stories around the hunt and process of acquisition, as well as what makes them such gems of printing history. From early presses to casting machines, tools and antiquarian books, this will be a peek into printing history that you will not want to miss. Following the talk, guests will have the opportunity to even print on several of these presses.
LETTERPRESS SURPLUS SALE & WAYZGOOSE EVENT

9 am to 4 pm
We will have a large selection of letterpress equipment, wood and metal type, cuts, supplies, printing presses and more available for sale at our annual surplus sale. There will also be special letterpress demonstrations, typecasting, and more for all attendees.
"GET OUT THE VOTE" POSTERS!

10 am to 1 pm
Print a collection of five pre-set letterpress wood type posters created by the Museum’s Teaching Artists. No experience needed—just drop in, print, explore, and leave with a collection of bold prints while experiencing the freedom of the press firsthand on our Vandercook presses. While you're here, enjoy a FREE tour of the Museum, open from 10 AM–4 PM.
THE 18th ANNUAL LOS ANGELES PRINTERS FAIR

We are bringing the best of letterpress, book arts, and paper arts to the Los Angeles area. With the backdrop of the world’s largest collection of working antique presses, the Printers Fair annually hosts 100+ artistic vendors and 1,500+ visitors. Experience the creative worlds of beautiful printing, handmade books and paper arts.
Exhibitors include many of the greatest letterpress and printmaking artists, who offer custom posters, printings, hand-printed cards, memorabilia, hand-made paper, and antiquarian books for sale.
All proceeds from the Los Angeles Printers Fair support the International Printing Museum, a non-profit institution dedicated to the heritage, preservation, and advancement of the printing arts.

A full-day event giving Scouts the opportunity to earn their Graphic Arts and Pulp & Paper merit badges in one jam-packed day. Advance registration is required; not open to the general public.

The Museum is open to the public most Saturdays, 10 am to 4pm, except when we are hosting special events or scout programs.
