Admission and Hours

The Museum is open to the public on Saturdays only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or during the week by appointment for groups and other visitors. Admission is $10 per adult and $8 for students and seniors and includes the full guided tour approximately 1 hour long. Please check our calendar for the schedule of events, as prices for admission are different on those days or are reservation only tickets.

For twenty-five years, the International Printing Museum in Carson, California, has been devoted to bringing the history of books, printing and the book arts to life for diverse audiences. The staff and volunteers make it their mission to take one of the world’s most significant collections of antique printing machinery and interpret it for today’s audiences through working demonstrations and theater presentations.

Over 400,000 people have experienced the International Printing Museum while learning about the history of books and printing, great inventions and inventors that helped make our world. The Museum has been recognized worldwide for the size, variety and importance of its collection and for the successful and creative approach to interpreting the collection for the community at large.
