A Celebration of Wood Type
at the International Printing Museum

Come and tour the Museum and enjoy the displays of wood type.
At noon the film “Typeface” will be shown in the Museum’s Heritage Theater. The film is about the rise and fall and rise again of the Hamilton Wood Type Company.
At 2:00 pm, we will be having a presentation by David Shields, associate Professor of Design at the University of Texas at Austin, called “Engaging Abundance: The Rob Roy Kelly Wood Type Collection”. One of the most stunning collections of wood type in the country, this presentation will show it in all its glory.
Admission is $8 for the general public and $5 for members of APHA.
