The Book Arts Institute’s new Gallery supports the mission and activities of the Printing Museum. A wide range of exhibitions related to paper, print and the book are planned for the 2009-2010 year.

Current Exhibit: 100 Years of Wood Type

We are pleased to present “100 Years of Woodtype” opening the day of the Fair in the Book Arts Institute Gallery. Board member Jim Thompson has been working with the Museum’s wood type for the past few years, carefully cataloging and proofing each case. You will be delighted to see his research and a selection of our wood type in the Gallery.

The Museum is also fortunate to have graphic designer Tim Steinmeier graciously donate his services in designing the graphics for the exhibit.

Steinmeier Design is an established graphic design firm with over 35 years of expertise in the effective communication of information. We specialize in design and production graphics for print, packaging, merchandising, illustration, 3D visualization, branding, instructional materials and website design.
